VMware has published a security advisory, highlighting a vulnerability in the following products listed on the 4th of January 2022. It is recommended that you take the necessary precaution by ensuring your products are always updated.

• VMware ESXi version 6.5, 6.7 and 7.0

• VMware Workstation version 16. x

• VMware Fusion version 12. x

• VMware Cloud Foundation version 3. x and 4. x

  The Guyana National CIRT recommends that users and administrators review these updates and apply them where necessary.
